K&C Fisheries is a Victorian company that catches carp in Australian rivers and exports them to Asia . Another company using this model is Ambre Energy which is headquartered in Brisbane but exports coal from America to overseas markets. Its success relies on engineering and financial expertise, but Ambre also works hard to understand American culture in order to achieve long term success. In Oregon, Ambre listened to stakeholders to successfully propose a port infrastructure development project package that included jobs for local communities and financial contributions to local schools, while also being sensitive to environmental concerns.
